CGC is currently seeking an experienced, technically proficient Construction Project Manager.
Candidates must be knowledgeable in every stage of the construction process from scope development to project closeout.
The Project Manager must be capable of executing a portfolio of projects varying in size, scope and complexity on time and within budget through effective communication, preparation, management and skill.
You will report directly to our General Manager and supervise Site Superintendents and subcontractors to ensure an on-time, on-budget project execution with superior quality and zero safety issues.
Responsibilities include the following:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from proposal through closeout Ability to troubleshoot issues and problem solve Effectively manage and build teamwork within the project execution team Oversee Site Superintendents and subcontractors through project completion Direct project activities to ensure conformance to contract, budget, plans, specs, and schedule Forecast project cash flow in relation to the project schedule Track financial performance of projects Prepare project reports for management and clients Interface directly with clients at kick-off meetings and throughout life of project Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, project manuals and other technical documentation Negotiate subcontractor and vendor pricing Submittal tracking Accountable for maintaining budget and profitability goals Supervise QA/QC personnel and ensure safety standards are met, and where necessary, assist with development and implementation of site-specific quality control and safety programs Prepares cost estimates Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices and make suggestions to leadership for improvements Knowledge of construction management software such as Rankin and RS Means Training / Specialized Experience / Certifications 5 - 10 years Construction Experience Skilled in conflict resolution Good understanding of legal processes Able to maintain morale and foster team work Ability to delegate and work independently, as well as part of a team Excellent written, oral, and computer skills Must be able to obtain clearance for entry onto military installations Must be able to multi-task Professional and effective communication skills, both orally and in writing Valid driver's license Travel as required COMPETENCIES To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE B.
S.
in Engineering and/or Construction Management is required.
5 - 7 years construction and project management experience.
