POSITION SUMMARY
Plays an active role in the advertising department sales process by assisting multiple account executives with customer contact, prospecting, researching and coordinating data, market research, rate call back-up, processing and scheduling of ad orders, assembling presentations and sales proposals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Local Account Executives & Sales Manager to process advertising requests, receive ad materials; check for correct rates on insertion orders and proper production specifications and schedule advertisements.
Work closely with the reps in securing new and existing business by having key account and market knowledge as needed.
Quote rates, have thorough understanding of rate structures, and provide basic descriptions of advertising product offerings to new and existing advertisers at the direction of Sales Manager.
Gather research and related data for the purpose of putting together sales proposals and basic presentations. Follow this process from start-to-finish.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma, College degree preferred.
2-3 years minimum experience in a sales support.
Advertising/Marketing/Media experience preferred.
